We are a sports club dedicated to cultivating children and young people's passion for dance and physical performance. Founded in early 2018, "Double D" has quickly evolved into a vibrant space where over 100 students discover and develop their artistic and athletic potential.

2020 was a real challenge for all of us, a year in which we had to redefine our limits and find our inner strength to move forward . Ambition, family and courage became essential landmarks in a period marked by uncertainties and sudden stops in usual activities, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Training rooms moved to their own rooms, gardens or living rooms , and the joy of dance and movement was kept alive through sustained efforts , even in these unprecedented conditions .
2021
Grace, balance and continuous work were flawlessly demonstrated by the talented Maria Răducanu - 🏆 Winner of the Popularity Award - Next Star .
We had the honor of being present with 2 special moments, at the Christmas Show "December in Dance Steps", on the stage of the "Ion Dacian" National Operetta and Musical Theater .

National Champions in the “Aerobic Dance” competition-
Alessia Pavelescu achieved the feat of obtaining two medals: Silver 🥈 and Bronze 🥉 at the international competition in America World Championships of Performing Arts - "WCOP"
Bianca Moisa - 1st Place 🥇 and the title of National Champion at the National Karate Championship for Children.

Vibe International Dance Competition was an incredible experience, for which we prepared intensely. Going through 11 qualifications , with two bands, one group, one duet and seven solos in the Open and Contemporary categories , we made massive efforts to stand out.
With joy and pride, we managed to qualify with six moments in the final, and two of them even in the final gala of the best moments in the competition ( Open Band and Contemporary Duo ).

Athlete of the Day: Diana Cristina Deac
Diana Cristina Deac, a life dedicated to sports, brings honor to Romania. She is a national and European champion in aerobic gymnastics and has won silver medals at the World Gymnastics Games. After accumulating impressive achievements, she was awarded the title of Emeritus Master of Sports last year. Following this important moment, she founded the Double D Sports Club, where she works both as a coach and as a choreographer.

World Dance Cup
In February 2019, Diana Cristina Deac and her team from Double D Sports Club participated in the World Dance Cup competition in Braga, Portugal. With 8 qualifiers for the grand final, they achieved an impressive series of awards: 3 first places, 2 second places, 3 third places and 3 honorable mentions. Their success highlights their talent and dedication on the global dance scene.

Was it easy?
No. And it never will be.
Behind these results are thousands of hours of work, study, sacrifices, passion and dedication.
Only those who truly know the world of performance sports understand what it means to reach a European Championship and, above all, to end it with their heads held high, their hearts full, and the performances they dreamed of...
We wanted the Romanian anthem to be sung for us, once... just once.
And I heard it five times. I sang it with a trembling voice, tears in my eyes, hand on heart, while I was on the highest step of the podium. 🥹
I don't think there is greater pride 😊 and there were moments that will never be forgotten. 🥹
I'm proud of our team — athletes, coaches, parents, grandparents, the entire extended family who was with us body and soul.
I am grateful that I have the privilege of being surrounded by people who believe in us, who support us unconditionally, and encourage us every step of the way.
We thank the Romanian Dance Sport Federation for its trust and support!
It was an honor to represent Romania with joy, respect and pride!
